where can i find novelty buttons/accents?
is there a good place online to find novelty buttons or accents for crafts? i need them for sweaters & hairbows. also, where can i find licensed ones? disney princess, hello kitty, dora, hannah montana & such. thanks!
a store would be ok, too. its hard to find a place where you can buy in bulk or even a few for a reasonable price.

How do you make novelty type design a buttons?
The buttons that I have are two part, of which came with no instructions. I am assuming that I place my original in the center and put the two pieces together. What holds the parts together or what else do I need to do?

I was just in Michaels the other day and they had a very nice selection of Dress it Up buttons. You can see their selection here: http://dressitup.com/

You are not likely to find licensed ones because of the licensing issues.

BADGE-A-MINT it’s a name brand product you can purchase. Look it up online. I’m sure they’s a link for it somewhere.

With the few stores that carry pins (like Hottopic and Spensors), it’s very hit and miss. Sometimes you can find a lot of cool ones at thriftstores, craftshows, yardsales and vintage stores too, but once again, very hit and miss.

However, if you’re really looking for something really specific, just search eBay. Now that listing items 99 cents or less is free, they are super cheap there.

There are badge making kits for sale at the Dollar Tree (everything for a $) store, Walmart has a bigger more professional kit available , they have a kid to teen craft section inside their craft department its a complete kit.

You can make a badge with a card stock or poster board backing, a jewelry pin back (also available at WalMart or any craft store) You can print a photo or a pretty font with her name and fill in with marker ink, glue it to the stiffer paper, glue them all to the pin back.
She’ll love it just as much home made as mall made, honest, its a chick thing. If you make it yourself, don’t forget glitter, another chick thing!!

Where can I get a novelty button MADE with a name on it, fast?
I need a button with the name “Amanda” on it, fast.
I live in Hayward, Ca. Basically, the East Bay south of Oakland.
I’ll buy it here or through the internet as long as they ship it fast! It’s for a birthday present I’m making which is due next Thursday.
